Ayushmann Khurrana, Vicky Kaushal Won National Film Awards

Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Andhadhun added one more award on Friday.

The Sriram Raghavan directorial was given the best Hindi movie award at the 66th National Film Awards. It won the honor for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Independently, Ayushmann and Vicky Kaushal won the award in the Best Actor class for Andhadhun and Uri individually.

Keerthy Suresh won the Best Actress for her acting in Mahanati. Uri director Aditya Dhar was given the honor for Best Director. Gujarati film Hellaro won in Best Film class.

Sundani from Nigeria, Kgf and others also won National Film Awards

Baaram, Mahanati, Hamid, Bhonga, Mama, Turtle, Bulbul Can Sing, Harjeeta, won awards for best Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Marathi, Garu, Rajasthani, Assamese, and Punjabi

While KGF packed away the National Film award for best action, Kruti Mahesh and Jyoti D Tommar won best choreography award for their work in Padmaavat’s Ghoomar.

Sundani from Nigeria was granted the best Malayalam Film.

Surekha Sikri won the honor for Best Supporting Actress for her job in the film Badhaai Ho.

Badhaai Ho additionally took the honor for Best Popular Film giving wholesome entertainment.

Swanand Kirkire won the honor for Best Supporting Actor for the film Chumbak. The Best Child Artist Award was given to PV Rohit, Sahib Singh, Talha Arshad Reshi and Shrinivas Pokale.

Akshay Kumar Padman got the national film award Best Film on Social Issue award. So also, Marathi film Paani won the Best Film on Environment Conversation award.

Kannada film Ondalla Eradalla won the Nargis Dutt award.

Best Debut Film of a Director award was given to Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti for Naal. Uttarakhand won the honor for most cordial state the as far as movies are concerned.
