By one month from now, India could be taking its first Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), a single-point military counsel toward the government.
Simultaneously, another Army Chief will likewise be delegated as General Bipin Rawat is set to retire on December 31.
By chance, Gen. Rawat was recently observed as a leader for the post.
As indicated by Hindustan Times, India’s first CDS is relied upon to be declared in December, in spite of the fact that the definite obligations that they will attempt are yet to be concluded by the execution panel, headed by National Security Adviser Ajit Doval.

Change pending since 1999 Kargil War
The board was delegated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after he declared the announced of Chief of Defence in his Independence Day address this year.
